Why We Started?

Children around us carry dreams larger than the circumstances they grow up in, yet many of these dreams remain unfulfilled due to limited access to education, guidance, and essential support systems. In many communities, education is inconsistent, healthcare is difficult to access, and childhood is often shaped by responsibility rather than opportunity.

This reality raised a simple but important question: What if every child had consistent support to help them grow, learn, and thrive?

From this belief, Akhar Seva was founded in April 2023. It began as a small initiative with a clear purpose — to support children who deserve equal access to learning and development opportunities.

Over time, it has grown into a collective effort led by members, volunteers and educators who share one commitment: ensuring that a child's background does not define their future.

Through each learning session, interaction, and milestone, we continue to witness how consistent support and encouragement can create meaningful change in a child's journey.

This belief remains at the core of everything we do.
