About the Campaign

Global warming is slowly affecting each and every one of us, making environmental awareness and sustainable habits more important than ever. At Akhar Seva, we recognize its lasting impact on our communities and the responsibility we share in creating a better future.

Many of our children initially did not fully understand the importance of protecting nature and would often unintentionally harm the environment around them.

To nurture a sense of belonging, growth through experience, and empathy towards living things, we launched our "Adopt a Plant" Campaign, where each child planted their own pot and took charge of caring for it. Through watering, observing changes, and nurturing their plants every day, they witnessed the beauty of growth firsthand and developed a deeper connection with nature.

What began as a simple activity soon became a meaningful lesson in patience, consistency, and environmental stewardship. Over time, the children no longer viewed plants as ordinary objects but as something valuable that depended on their care.

Today, they do not simply plant seeds; they cultivate responsibility, awareness, and a greener mindset for the future.
